I'm awake during the day. It's so weird. Watching the Fujisankei News is so fun.

I really wanna open these cans of chestnut paste to see just how chunky they are, but I don't have any way to close them after and I don't plan on using it right away. Maybe I can put plastic wrap on it and put it in the fridge?

I have some pictures to upload but they'll only be interesting to certain audiences and I'd rather devote my energy to staying awake right now, anyway.

NEVER keep things in their cans when you open it. Transfer to glass jar or tupperware. Metal corrodes when it meets air and you'll have a metallic tang contaminating the flavor. This happens all the time with canned litchis. As soon as you open the can, the metal taste happens.
