I'm feeling a little under the weather. I'm on a new medication that seems to make me a bit dehydrated, and that plus the winter air, the airplanes, and not having any pants to sleep in except my jeans made me rather uncomfortable last night. There's also a possibility I'm just straight up allergic to aforementioned new medication, and it's making my legs itch like a mother. EMOTEAR. It's making me worried about whether I'm going to be too tired and crummy to do anything in New York City. It's a very nice city, but it drains me quickly. Especially the walking, homigod mutter mutter. Oh, and the airplanes and the freezing cold, and one of my favorite comfy soft hoodies shrank in the wash. Yang made fun of me falling asleep before Thanksgiving dinner yesterday! ARRRRR!!!!!!
A list of places in NYC that will sell me food, because everything is about food with me these days goddammit, in no particular order so as to protect me and my family from my many many stalkers, who all envy me for my charm and good looks, but you will never catch me!!!! and yes I will start now:
oms/b (What is this crap about handshakes)
Nadaman Hakubai (Kaiseki for $30 a head~) MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN SHATTERED. (I might still go anyway...)
Cafe Zaiya (Stuff. Like cream puffs.)
Yakitori Totto (Guess)
Menchanko-tei (HAKATA RAMEN)
Minamoto Kitchoan (Duh)
Kinokuniya bookstore (Oh, wait, no food...wait yes there is! The cafe! >:D)

Well, like I said, it's just nothing but food with me these days, and I just love the Japanese stuff, but they really don't have these sorts of things in Boston. For instance, no kaiseki that I know of here, or those beautiful green-tea desserts I'm always chasing after made fresh. (Or at least, very little. Or not very good). So I go nuts in NYC.

I understand about the food though - that's where most of my money ends up whenever I go overseas, so...w What happened to the Kaiseki!?
