As a slight consolation, the petit fours we ordered from Swiss Colony arrived today. It was my mother's idea, since white chocolate and vanilla frosting tend to inspire feeding frenzies in her, and you do get a lot of that with petit fours---but who am I to resist cake for Christmas? Red velvet and gingerbread. I like the gingerbread a bit better.

EDIT: How could I not feel a vague tremor of anxiety when I watched that DVD containing an interview with a TotA developer? I bought this in NYC, by the way, I only got around to watching it yesterday, and I'm talking about it now that I have something else to complain about. He says they didn't just want to make an RPG, they wanted to make a game that could change your life.

Could I possibly take that as a warning sign? Pick up your skirts and RUN, Robin, this game is annoy you?

That's seriously the genre?! Wow, Namco, even Square isn't that pretentious. Heeheehee, aww man. How does that explain Tear's design theme apparently being her chest?

How funny. I think if Square said that, I wouldn't mind. Even Tidus in FFX is famous for being a dumb jock/blonde, but I liked him. I haven't felt that for any (many) Tales protagonists. It's a lack of maturity, or subtlety...maybe it bothers me that when they start focusing on YET ANOTHER coming-of-age story that has nothing to do with me, it becomes more clear that they really don't care if I buy the story/character development or not because they're selling to teenage boys.

Um, yeah, I think it has to be the yucky boys. That goes for Tear's bewbs, too. ~_~

It's not L2, it's RO... on a server with much crashyness, but a nicely done world - and 1k xp rates :D

Max job levels are higher too, allowing for greater fun with one character.
