Sometime within the next year and a half, I will visit Japan for the first time. It gets an announcement like this because I AM EXCITEDDDD. (Also, it was a slow day and I have nothing else to write about.) I wanted to say something like 初めての日本旅行決･定☆彡 but I've actually known I'm going for a couple months now. It just sort of came up because Olive was talking about it. (IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT. ♥) I'll either go this summer or the next, and I'll spend lots and lots of money on, well, porn. (Also, a nice fan, if I can find one.) If anybody needs me to buy anything (mostly Lindsay, possibly Yang), tell me what to buy and how to do it, and we'll see.
It is interesting to note that I have LOTS of complicated gross feelings that come from waiting too damn long to visit Japan, such as, I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU PRETTY PRETTY JAPAN etc. Yes, that pretty much sums it up. But this sort of intimidation is probably good for me, so I'm going to just note it now and try to leave it alone. ...it kind of makes me laugh.

You've read that diary of a guy who's in the JET program? Not because I think it should be required reading or something, but just because it's someone talking about the JET program and that can be interesting.
