I've made my plans; I'm going to Japan next year and Otakon this year. I need to talk to Runan on AIM as soon as the internet is working again here. (There's a repairman here. He's trying to fix the lines we've had on our TV for weeks.)

Otakon is just a tad bigger than it was before if I can't get hotel reservations anywhere in May. There used to be some left this time of the year closer to the convention center. (...I got one, but it's kinda far away and I'm grumpy about it. Mutter mutter walking to the convention center mutter mutter sedan chair and guys to carry it around mutter.) And what's an industry room? That sounds like a bunch of advertisements together, and what's good about that? Unless there are Hagaren freebies with Roy on them etc. I'm actually very wary of the American anime "industry," see, since it didn't exist when I started being anime fan. Can't be good.

I'm happy. Oh well.

Yeah, I'm going to Otakon this year as well, and I was looking for a hotel in March, but all the websites said there were no vacancies. [livejournal.com profile] liete booked a hotel in May last year, so she said that one should call the hotel just to make sure.

Hmm. I don't know what the industry room is...

(゜□、゜) March is a PERFECTLY REASONABLE time to look for a room. How silly. Baltimore is just too darn small for 25,000 anime fans. As for the calling the hotels, we tried it and no luck :D
