So yesterday they were showing the Fullmetal Alchemist movie in a movie theater down in East Bumfuck Randolph, and it was up to me and Runan to go and see it!
It was a disaster.
Well, at least the tickets worked, but we got there like 40 minutes into the movie. Friday afternoon traffic going South to the Cape and the rain made everything very slow; we spent upwards of two hours in the car on the way down. Yes. And then when we got there, we only got about half an hour of the movie. I totally missed the part where Havoc said Roy was waiting for someone else, and I REALLY WANTED TO SEE THAT. And fangirl over it. I missed my chance.
After that, we went to the Olive Garden. Now, let me tell you that I make fun of the Olive Garden. It's American, okay. It was my grandma's idea. She spotted it while on the road and she said, you can get anything at the Olive Garden! Just to be mean, I asked her, well, can you get sushi?! And she offered me a raw meatball. Ah well. So we ate at this dumb restaurant I would never have bothered with after being disappointed by the movie, and it took a long time, and I was tired. It sucked, to summarize, and after all that, I think I'm done. (Now to start a new paragraph to make sure Runan will notice.)
Runan, I know we talked about going to the second showing at 9 tonight, but I'm just not up to it. The movie makes me sad and I don't feel like being driven 40 minutes to it. So download the subtitled version or something? Wah, I dunno. I'm sorry if you were looking forward to seeing it again.
While I was waiting to be seated at the Olive garden, I draw a picture. So now we have a little crap thing of Ed littering. It's not my oh-so-skillful art, it's that the little idiot is eating candy and throwing away his wrapper in the wrong place. Why does that make me happy? I don't know. I'm sick, okay. Be nice to me. P.S. Our server's name was Trisha! OMG IT MEANS SOMETHING!
Also, I drew this a few weeks back for one of Kei's drabbles where Al goes out in the rain first thing after getting his body back. I think we talked about Al and fuzzy towels and then kittens, I didn't add a kitten oh darn. But it does have a nice fuzzy dry towel and Al snuggling in it. Silly Al. Don't you just wanna smack him? (I dunno, cute things make me want to hit something.)
