Arakawa says in Hagaren 16's omake that this Oikawa Mitsuhiro is the actor she wants to play Roy if there ever happened to be a live-action version of FMA. Apparently he's a Gundam fan.

Actually, I think a live action FMA would be cool... Courting disaster, but definitely cool!

I should also add that Roy was unsatisfied with his actor. Not old or manly enough. (Micchi IS young and pretty...) What an uke thing to say.

UH. Well, you know, there's an omake in the back of each Hagaren tankoubon, and this one had a lot of pages, so Arakawa used some of the space in this one to answer questions that people had been writing her with...I guess you haven't read volume 16 yet? Or...don't tell me you've never seen the Hagaren omake?!

I only have a vague inkling of what an omake is ^_^'' but more to the point is that I only have a handful of the Hagaren manga, and since then Ive been getting other series, so I havent really kept in touch with the latest books.
