Oh, wait, I know Cutey Honey of course.. I never watched the series but I think I must have had the opening songs since the age of my first adventures on the internet :D What I was actually wondering was whether this particular version of the opening was released on cd or anywhere or something.. Partly out of curiosity but mostly just because I want to have it so I can listen to Simon's lovely performance over and over and love Kakihara Tetsuya for accepting money to sing all this nonsense. Anyway, I suppose if you were just have a good giggle over Neo Cutey Honey clips you know as little as I do heheh :>

Your comment reminded me that I hardly ever watch anime anymore though.. and what I see from it I'm hardly crazy about except for some lose characters here and there. Is it me or are there just not a lot of exceptional series anymore these days?

There are practically NO exceptional series these days. T____T Seriously, it's been ages since a show came along that I could get really excited about. The stuff I currently fangirl over--Slayers, Detective Conan--is all old school.

At least the Ookiku Furikabutte manga is ongoing...

I AM kind of excited the the new Persona anime that's going to be airing, even though I've never played any of the games. The art is rather nice, kind of elegant.

Yea, I had arrived at that conclusion as well. Series nowadays just seem to recycle the same old ideas over and over while lacking a certain charm that a lot of old school stuff did have, although admittedly I am thinking of giving Gurren Lagann a chance now. My friend and I have already agreed to watch it around the holidays, simply because it was the only way to stop me from bugging her about the hotness of Simon's voice after seeing this clip (again, thank you Robin). If at any point it becomes boring, slow-paced and disappointing like most series, we decided to just skip to the good parts that feature Viral, or Simon being gratuitously exposed. No way it will be that bad then.

Actually I don't like Kamina because he's so very noisy which draws all attention away from the shota wonder that is Simon and I can't be enduring that D: Although I must admit that even I find Kamina's sort of tolerable when he's being physically close with Simon, like when they're sleeping together and Simon is resting on his chest?
