Summon Night 4
I browsed a thread on 2ch recently about "why Summon Night 4 failed." This, paired with comments on Niconico videos, leads me to conclude that nobody likes the resident SN scenario writer.

But there is so much more fun to be had with Winchester sims. (Get ready to hear more about them in this one entry.)
Aion Online
A friend of mine automatically received a closed beta code because they were signed up for an NCSoft game that closed, so he allowed me to use his account to traipse around a beautifully forested island and kill cow creatures. (In return, he moved my character to a deserted place, took her clothes off, and signed out. Counterattack pending.) I am suddenly tired of fucking around and would like to play an assassin. I was never KSed, bothered, or interrupted, but it WAS a closed beta. I think I would like to see a ban on names with "loli" and "raep."
My Nintendo DS R4 came in the mail, which means a lot of playing Nintendo DS games. Absolutely in first place is Mamegoma Nikki 2. In this game, adorable 3-D caricatures of baby harp seals respond to your ironclad voice commands, such as "roll into a ball," or "you are so cute," or "climb into that coffee mug so I can take pictures of you peeking out." Yup. I'm also playing Summon Night 1 a little bit, and a pile of cheap mostly-text Japanese games I would never buy anyway. Did you know? I have a 70% compatibility with Dean Winchester, according to one particular fortune-telling game. If this were Angelique that would be grounds to chase him to the ends of the cosmos on my magical spaceship.

Mochida Aki's Blue Ribbon and Looseleaf
Now 50% more fun! Just replace the leading men with Dean! Yes, that is a quantifiable number. Just count the number of times I do this sequence while reading: roll around in bed, giggle like a fool, (optional: kick legs), ramble to anybody willing to listen about how super excellent it is. REPEAT.
Recent foodz:
I conduct dinner for the family pretty regularly now...well, it's not regular, but when I do it it adds up. I have learned to make asazuke without buying a bottle of junk at the store to use. Pan-fried pork with ginger and mabo tofu are entering the list of basic foods.
After wishing I could import ice cream from Japan, and then realizing I live in New England (a place known for dairy and ice cream, see also: Ben and Jerry's) and that it would be an inexcusable waste to bring it from Japan, I remembered that MY FAMILY OWNS AN ICE CREAM MAKER and it's been bedlam ever since. The first attempt was an easy but greasy "sakura" ice cream flavored with cheap cherry extract that made it all taste like cough syrup. Mostly it is comforting to know I don't have to attack Japan to have this anymore. The next attempt, occurring last night, was a green tea ice cream with a custard base. I later discovered that this was a gelato recipe and that was a thick custard I used, so now I have a rock-hard ice cream that resists weaponry such as hot spoons, hot steak knives, and even hot forks. Woe is me. Also, the green tea is disturbing my sleep.
Recent thoughts:
Anonymous, on 4chan, once asked me if I thought it wouldn't be fucking weird if a strong manly man suddenly started crying or sharing his woes with me. The answer is: if we, the fangirls of the world, love Dean Winchester THIS MUCH, then absolutely not. But you have to be like Dean and be practically dying before you pick a sunset and shed beautiful manly tears.
Lately I worry that I am actually in a temple in the Himalayas somewhere, in a darkened room, meditating on these matters, all the while chanting "Dean Dean Dean Dean Dean." My life sitting at a computer and constantly yapping at my fangirl friends is simply a hallucination inspired by starving myself. I don't really think this is unhealthy because I'm not hurting anybody but gosh, it's so hard being an ascetic. :(
To close, I have a cheesecake-y (purposely) picture of Dean with angel wings improved greatly by additions that are not the original subject :/
