I understand that I am beginning a cold and I'm already upset with the idea of having to survive 6 more days of wiping my nose every 5 minutes (and wanting to die if I don't, and probably having angry ears no matter what I do). But. This was a hard episode. :(

How could they exhaust all their silly meta jokes at the beginning so that they could make Dean scary? Scary, depressed Dean is DEAN WITHOUT THE FUN. And then it just went into bashing certain female fantasies about, like, vampires watching sleeping women or men writing poetry about black velvet (that was not a very nice comment). うーん　:/ And Lisa, how is he going to explain to Lisa? "Oh, sorry, I got turned into a vampire and went crazy." EXCUSES I WOULD HESITATE TO BUY FOR $1000.

いつもよりおにいちゃんの事を守ってあげたくなった一話デシタ。　ディーンが噛まれるシーンは、もう心の中の声と言ったら　「噛むな噛むな不潔不潔不潔ーーー!!!!!!!!!1 キーーーッ 不潔うううう!!!!!!!」。　そーうねーえ、見ててあまり面白いと感じなかったねーえ、と言うか、むしろ目を背けてしまった!　ありえない、おじさんに噛まれるなんて!　せめてアルファはセクシーな人に、でも当然アルファを殺すオチだから女性だったら「また扱い方がアレでした」な問題発生、男性だったら「もう男性キャラであふれかえっているし」ぶつぶつ。　最初はあんなに面白そうと思えたな設定だったのに、またちょっと不満な気持ちが残った…

Hmm, that does seem wrongheaded on the writers' part. There are enough deeply serious vampire tv shows, they could stand to deal with it a little more lightheartedly...

Well, it was also a nice opportunity for them to take all their Twilight jokes and say, "just kidding! we make fun of you because we love you guyyyys <3" but they didn't cut the SPN fangirls any slack so why would they with Twilight fangirls? ~_~ It was weird. I wished they either could have made it more lighthearted, or gone even more serious and kept the (female) vampire around as a team member, but this is Not Allowed.

Yeah, seriously. Dean was a vampire; the comic possibilities were endless. But it was just as angsty as the things they were making fun of!
