Did I blink, or were the credits just going really fast when I first checked who Shesca's voice actress was? Because I couldn't have misread it. Or mixed it up with another character's voice actress. Oh no. Certainly not Glacier Hughes' voice actress. Even though they would have been listed near each other. Oh heavens no.

While we're talking about Hagaren, I haven't watched this week's episode yet. Or last week's. I mean, I sort of skipped through them and watched the important things, but I haven't sat down and REALLY watched them. Part of it is that I think the angst finally piled up enough to douse my FIREY zeal for watching Ed. Yes, it's finally hit me, too. =_= Lately when I think about that kid, the sound effect I'm getting is a twinging "ズッきゅうん". I CAN'T EMOTE THIS STRONGLY THIS OFTEN WITHOUT MAKING MYSELF ILL. ...and part of it is that I'm STILL annoyed that it had to be a month on a deserted island. Yes, shut up.

It does. And yes, it exists. Because in manga version, he comes and visits Ed in the hospital and gives him a melon.

Because Ed was in the HOSPITAL! :D In Japan, people give single outrageously expensive musk melons as gifts, like fruit baskets. This article (http://www.bigempire.com/sake/yubari.html) can give you a good idea of how it works, despite my suspicions that the entire tone is kind of "we are weirded out by the weirdness of Japanese weirdos."

And to answer your question from before, I think they only left them there for a day. Or maybe she meant to leave them there for a month, but Winry kicked up such a FUSS that they went back to get them much sooner. XB
