I'm so screwed

I think I want a loom.

So very, very screwed.

So very, very screwed.

Very, very screwed.

Who's been to my aunt's house? *crickets chirping* Nobody? Lindsay? Olive, definitely...I think...nobody else?

My aunt has a whole ROOM set aside for HER weaving operation.

So very motherfucking screwed.

It could be worse. You could be looking into your own flock of sheep. That was how a friend of mine got into spinning. It all started with raising border collies. It ended with a small business in wool yarn and thread dyed with period techniques. A loom isn't that bad. *thinks* You could start with a hand loom for trim and ribbon, see if that breaks the obsession.

Yeah, a 24" table loom is maybe half the price of a new computer, so I might be able to make the fambly pay for it.

It'd be easier than the sheep, anyway :D

...Um. No, I think I've just been to your Gandma's house^^;;.

I remember when I wanted a loom, until I remembered that they did not, in fact, run themeselves, and that to get all sorts of pretty cloth I'd have to actually do WORK.

Well, this all happened because I was looking up flying shuttles, and all you have to do with those is pull a string. (...and KILL a man! :D ...no) And now they have these looms that you hook up to your computer. I'm not kidding, there's, like, a freaking USB port on the side of the damn thing, and they do the patterns you make on the computer. Geeky.
