We got a Playboy catalog in the mail. It's true, it really is stupid, but I'm keeping it SEKRITLY until I can figure out how to apply it to a Hagaren coupling.
I have to do this while I'm still fairly young and whining and being horny is age-appropriate.
Also, looking at it gives me a little shot of that essential youthful-rebellion-anger, because where is all the porn *I* like? I mean porn, or smut, or just stuff with graphic SEX, for women, that women actually watch more than gay men. Romance novels are clearly no good. Fanfic and doujinshi are always great, but they're run by the people who aren't in charge. I'm disappointed that whoever's running things around here doesn't want to make anything for me, that fanfic is still a dirty secret and doujinshi is subversive. I mean, it's not like Playboy is mainstream, but I don't get any catalogs with pictures of half-nekkid Roy in the mail, either.
Hearing people complain about the waves of fangirls doesn't make it any better. I mean, where the hell do you get off on condemning people like that? What is moral or special about showing how DAINTY you are with the porn? Is that, like, refined or something? I can understand if you don't want to look at RoyEd constantly, because if there are EdRoy fans, there are people out there who don't want anything to do with pairings, too. It's when the eye-rolling stops being good-natured that I have a problem. We're all in the same fandom, and you want to draw a line to keep someone out. We're all PEOPLE, and you want to draw a motherfucking LINE. If someone insults you, fine, go after them, but don't get all fire and brimstone just because someone's too excited or stupid to spell right and make a smart comment.
