Since I'm going to be playing FFXI soon, I think you should all know about the Wet Vest Contest.

This is a real conversation I had with Yang not long after FFXI came out. I drew it maybe a year...six months ago...and it already looks like crap...のほほん。　≡_≡ Some of the stuff we said was switched around to make more sense, but otherwise it's all perfectly intact. ...and I realize "meta" isn't the right word, but I really did draw this in a frenzy late at night. Yes, that's an insanity plea.

After I drew this, I kept Meta-Yang and nicknamed him Meta-kun. He's an all-purpose slash puppy for bothering and squishing. (Oh, that's right, the squishing is important.) ...and a big in-joke with me and Yang. I guess now it's just going to add a whole other dimension to FFXI for me. (Kithal, if that's the head you picked for whatever you're playing, 1. I though you were going to get a spiky one, you're stupid and 2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

(Aaaaaaaand gahahahaha I just heard a terrific crash of thunder...thank god the dog is indoors. =_=)

(...speaking of Kithal, I am KICKING myself for not keeping a copy of that conversation...)

"Convenient steam" had me rolling in those pictures.

I am also one of the odd "I play a character who looks closest to me in reality" guys, so yes my character has a beard :D. It's not as spiffy as my beard, which is more a beard that follows the jawline plus stubble of lazyness, but is still a beard.

I'll find the number for a world pass tomorrow morning when I get up (about 10 hours from now, so about 5pmish your time), but in the mean time try to get onto the Asura world. I think the world pass I bought last week is still usable, but I have no idea and can't find the number (and would require about 2 hours of playing to get to the point where I can). (See above comment on lazyness why I am sleeping first).

I hope the number works. I'd feel bad if you had to go and get another one or something. ^^*

I want to play FFXI ;_;. How much is it?

Uh. I don't properly know! :D The PS2 one was apparently $100 or so dollars, but that was because dad got the adapter thing with it, and then new games always got for about $50. If your computer can run it...OMG get it and we can party *_*

I've spent all my birthday money, though ;_;. Oh well, I should be getting a job soon (at my dad's company, no less), so maybe I can afford it then =_=;;.

It's about 70 U$ with the first expansion for the pc. There is a second expansion as well. It takes *ages* to install, so best off you do that as soon as possible. Once you are in, try this code when creating a character (there is an option in there somewhere).

...ages, like how long? Hours? I don't think I'm going to be getting it today, anyway---Dad has to stay late for surgery (on short notice, too...they're trying to BREAK HIS MIND), so he probably can't stop and trade in FFXI on the way home today. (If he does anyway, I'm going to punch him.)
