Edward Elric as one of those little South Park creatures. I know it's been overdone, but it's just Ed and maybe Al. Roy doesn't work. Not enough screamy-violent-little kid to him. ...unless there are going to be pedophile jokes.

Human-Al could be Kenny. He'd start every episode normal, get killed, and then end as a suit of armor because Ed fixed him. Every time. Oh, the horror. :D
