I made annin dofu! I rock! Except it's too sweet for me. Ahaha. I can't handle lots of frosting or candy at once, either. I think I must be making up for not liking to eat sugar by going for cutesy stuff instead. Sugar! Sugar! ...anyway, my mom likes it, so here's hoping it's healthy enough for her little diet. Next time I'm going to try one of the scary ones in Japanese I found that want fresh cream and squished-up, ground-up almonds.

Two other reasons I like my Tales of Phantasia books (Specifically, Harukanaru Toki 1 and 2):

1. I have gotten faster and better at reading since I started with them. I've learned to read a couple new words, several new kanji. Still can't get my family to pay for them in the name of my education, those ignorant swine.

2. There are no random encounters and more chances for cute. There are a few scenes where they're lounging around together, which didn't really happen in the game, and it really makes them seem more like a group of friends. Yes, I know there are face chats, but as far as I know the good ones are devoted to making fun of the couples and showing that Suzu has a sweet tooth.
