EWWWWW, I lost my entry and I don't feel like writing another one. ...I will anyway.

I had a nice day and I got to see Olive. I actually don't remember much about what we talked about, but I know I was having FUN, so that's important. (I think I was probably just too buried in my tempura to make conversation. I am a terrible friend, but it was a nice dinner.) I remember she said my bruise looks rainbowy, and that she actually almost tripped when I asked her whether I should take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

...so I'm looking that up right now. It's registration season, you know. Maybe I could finally con mom into taking me there this year. (She has work, and all.) It's also an excuse to buy a whole bunch of BOOKS from Sasuga. Books, dude. I have to have books. My kanji is horrific (like everyone else's).

32/40 for my latest kanji test. Pretty satisfying, cause I walked away thinking that was what I got, and it was :D

Business Japanese if a bugger though, I love colloquialism and kansai-ben (which I actually speak in, since I was living in a kansaiben using island, mixed with weird island jargon).

Do the test, I'll be going for one later this year too I think, see if I really am a level 2 proficiancy (which is one step down from fluent in the Oz system).

Yeah, apparently I know around 1000 kanji (according to my Japanese teacher, as of three or four years ago T_T), so I'm just aiming for level 2.

I wish I knew one of those funny dialects. I guess I'll just have to get sent to Japan or something for a while. (Whee.)
