In which I hate bleeding and say a lot of swear words and finally decide everyone is stupid

Here's my opinion on the current state of affairs involving menstruation:

Women, ALL women, for the better part of their LIVES, for thousands of generations, have been bleeding, sad, and in pain regularly every month. (Or not every month, and not really EVERY SINGLE woman, but it's an overwhelming majority. And everybody has something that bothers them.) And it hasn't been fixed or changed or made to GO THE FUCK AWAY yet (yet).

This is fucking outrageous and I demand some fucking relief. RIGHT NOW. Also, LJ is being pokey. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK SHIT.

You wouldn't say I was swearing too much if I broke my ARM. (And don't be so insecure. I'm not demanding compensation for jillions of years of BULLSHIT. Though I should. Rar. EVERYBODY IS STUPID.)

*laughs* I love the post.. and I hate to say it, but I understand *completely*.. I wonder why they haven't worked out a good solution for that yet.. *thinks* in theory, the pill/shot/patch helps, but you have to wonder if you want to mess with that junk too much.. I think the worst thing about it, (the perioding,) is it's a 3 fold thing. 1. the obvious bleeding. 2. the painfulness of it all, then there's 3. where you have no idea what's going on around you, or on the planet, because your head is just.. so.. fucked.. up..

..then again, maybe that's just me :P

They're actually making a pill that you can take that makes it so that you don't have your period. The way you get away with it is that you have them in bulk three or four times a year, rather than every month. I think they're testing it so the FDA will approve it. I hear people say it sounds unhealthy, or like it might have repercussions, but that's just evil men trying to enslave us by keeping us away from wonderful pills. Maybe.

*thinks* why does that sound familliar.. I think I've seen a commercial for something like that, but I have to wonder if it's just "the pill" with less pseudopills.. the pill's fine and dandy, if you can remember to take it, I suppose.. :P The only thing with that is that there are these horrible things that *can* happen.. you could grow facial fuzzies, or end up never able to have kids.. heck, you could prolly go through meno early or something.. the only thing it did for me is spread out the edgyness, so basically it was 25% of the normal hormonalness pretty much *all* month.. not a whole lot better..

I suppose it's back to disappearing for a few days a month and popping pills til someone thinks of something *genius*..

ah, there was also a shot.. depo provera (?), but apparently it has the same side effects of the pill.. although you've got *no* period.. just a *shudder* shot every 3 months.. *thinks* and there were implants too.. but that'd be yucky.. apparently you can actually feel them through your skin..

I don't think I'd handle diabetes well.

Shots are evil! The work of the devil!

(*goes comatose every time she sees a needle*)

I heartily agree. However, if I just had to get one shot and then never worry about getting my period EVER AGAIN, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I agree.
I was nearly dying from pain the last time ... It's just not fair. ;_;

It's a pain in the ass. Someone should do something.

My last two weren't so bad...so we all just KNOW I'm due for a horrificly painful one next time around =_=. Doctors need to stop making pills for guys that can't get it up and start doing something for the women of the planet.
